Lots to be Thankful For

It has been a great week for me. My parents arrived to Utah on Tuesday the 20th and to my house on the 21st. It is always fun for me when my family comes to visit.......I miss them terribly.
Gunnar's birthday was also on the 21st and my little boy who used to snack and nap with his mom is now a teenager!! I am having a hard time with this little fact.......I don't feel old enough to have a "teenager". We had a nice talk....Gunnar and I about all the things I remember about him and the road that is in front of us. (You know......now that he is a teenager he automatically knows everything)
Thursday of course was Thanksgiving and we had a great dinner and were able to spend time with my parents and Jared's brothers family.
Friday......was the icing on the cake. We were able to take our little family to the Manti Temple and have Gannon sealed to us. It was amazing. The temple is so beautiful and then to see our children come into the sealing room all dressed in white. It was a wonderful glimpse of heaven. It was an amazing experience. After everyone left the room we gathered our children in front of the mirrors and we all took a mental snap shot. I hope they will be able to recall that picture always. Kennedy has already decided that is where she wants to get married. I look forward to the day we will gather together again in the temple.
We were able to have my parents, Jared's brother, Bryan and his wife Yuko and Jared's sister, Lenay and her husband Matt. My Uncle Gary and Aunt Reva. And of course our bishop and his wife. There were lots of people I would have liked to have there and I know it was impossible for everyone to be there.........but I did think of you all.
I am so grateful for family and the power on Earth to keep those bonds for eternity. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving weekend......we had the best ever!!!
