Catching up

Gannon had his first real sickness. It was pretty yucky too. It just breaks my heart when they don't have the strength to get up and play and are just content to snuggle (that part I like). Kennedy ended up getting it Friday night and McKenna started throwing up at church. You gotta love that! The three of us who have so far escaped the sicky are hoping that it stays that way. So my week pretty much consited of washing, washing, washing. I think we are on the mend, Gannon actually played a little today. He is still pretty whiney which he never really has been so I hope that goes away. Both the girls were feeling fine this morning and went to school.

McKenna preformed at the horse expo on the 7th and 8th. She did a great job! Walking around the horse expo made me realize we could never afford her hobby. She'll just have to marry a cowboy. The weekend before that she went to the area shot out. She did good but didn't make it to the next round. I don't think she really cared. She just seemed happy to make it that far.

I am now 50% weight bearing. I have knocked myself down to one crutch. Which is a little early but I am not a very patient person. I get to look forward to ditching both the crutches and transfering to a cane. I can hardly wait!

  1. I have been waiting for an update. Its so good to hear you guys are getting better. I was completely down for 1 week. Then the next week was just up and down, third week I sounded sick, but I felt better. I have never had a sickness that lasted that long. Its the worst. I am glad to hear that you are almost to a cane. I never thought I would say that to a person, but congrats.

  2. Oh so sorry about the sickness I can really feel for you, we did this the whole month of December. I'm not sure that I've caught up on the laundry yet. I can't believe how much I washed! I really hope your all done with it, there's nothing worse!

  3. So glad your family is feeling better today. Being sick is no fun. Cambri also got sick yesterday at church. She is still in bed but is convinced she is better is spite of her 103 degree temperature.
