The other day we were in the middle of the homework nightmare (I would definately vote to abolish that dang stuff) I decided to change out my laundry (I could really do without that one too). Anyhow.....this is what happened.
McKenna: "Mom, I'm in an apple in here!"
Me: (What?!? Oh, great here it starts I've lost touch with the lingo already) "What!" (Maybe my mind didn't process it all)
McKenna: "I'M IN AN APPLE"
Me: (Ok, what the heck) "McKenna I'm not really sure I know what that means"
McKenna: "You know, I'm having a problem. I'm in a apple....or something."
Me: (Whew! I'm not a gonner yet) "You mean 'your in a pickle'."
We had a good laugh.
