Yes, some people said I must have been out of my mind. It might--well obviously it is true. I kept thinking how great it would be for them to have each other...the little partners in crime. I never realized just how much trouble they could get into now that there were two of them. Trouble: Ryelynn is our little dreamer and Gannon is the implementer. I'm not sure if she does it to see if he'll actually do it or just checking to see if it is safe...from harm or mom. I've caught them playing in the sink, eating oreo's under the table as fast as they can, jumping the back fence, and just came outside in time to see Ryelynn rescuing Gannon with the water hose--he had fallen down the window well. Neither one would say what they were doing. Most of the time I am in ear shot to hear the plans and squelch them, but with warmer weather now they can escape outside and it will be harder for me to hear what they are cooking up.
Competition: Holy Cow! There is not a thing that doesn't go unmeasured by those two. How much they ate? Who cleaned up? Who said the prayer? Who opened the door? Who got dressed faster? Who's being nicer? Who got buckled first? Who had what toy first? Who sits next to who? I think I might loose my mind.
Reprieve: There are times when they play nicely and get along for hours (well close to an hour :))and I think all that other junk is worth it. They will be good friends---at least that is what I whisper in their ears when they are sleeping.
