It's amazing to me how in what seems a short amount of time our family has evolved. The most dramatic would have to be the adding of two more children to the family. On January 28th we had Ryelynn Krystal and Gabriel Revinn placed in our home. To say that this happened fast would be the understatement of the century. We have prayed for it for a long time and just when I was giving up hope...my mother clock was a ticking away...(only getting older and all that) we were given this opportunity that quite literally opened by no other way than the hand of God. (Naturally everything went to heck in a hand basket after---but that is another evolution in itself.)
Ryelynn is a energetic 4 year old. She is shy which you may not expect. She is beautiful which you can clearly see. She is very independent. She loves music, clothes, and shoes....a true girl. She thinks everyone is doing or giving to her. (some day that may come crashing down on her) She loves books, barbies, and dolls. She's strong willed, I tell Kennedy that they are kindred spirits because of that. She had a hard time being affectionate when she first arrived but has warmed up considerably. She and Gannon have settled into the sibling relationship quite fast: love you one minute--can't stand you the next.
Revinn is the most mellow 10 month old baby I have ever seen, but he may also be the chunkiest. I love how fat his little legs are! He is so content to just sit on my lap, or sit on the floor. He does cry but rarely. He has big beautiful eyes, and if you can get him to smile he has a big beautiful one of those too. He is very selective of who he gives them to so if you get one you should count yourself lucky and privileged. He is a mamma's boy. Yeah, I finally got one. I love that he loves to cuddle! Gannon thinks he is the greatest---well along with Gunnar too. He has learned to point and thinks he is doing something great. He has also learned to play peek-a-boo which I think is the greatest. He's a fast little guy that loves to look under things.
Our family is learning how to adjust to two more in the mix. Boy, there seems like a ton of us when we go somewhere. Having two more come to the family has made me look at our family and we've noticed somethings that need changing (evolution), it's also made me realize how blessed we are to have each one of them, and how the Lord is truly in control of our life.

Congrats on the new editions, you guys are so lucky that they're so "light". It is getting really hot really quick down here. We may have to come up for an impromptu visit.
